Warex LLC

Warex is an Indiana based company with over one hundred employees who are dedicated to service and the safe application of explosives.  Warex was formed in 1989 to sell explosives and related services to the mining industry.  Warex started as an independent dealer servicing the smaller surface coal mines in southern Indiana.  During that time, Consolidated Mining, which was expanding operations, increased Warex footprint as a major supplier in the Illinois Coal Basin.

In 1994 Warex partnered with a few key manufactures and became a sub-dealer covering southern Indiana and southern Illinois.  Warex is currently the managing partner of a (50/50) Joint Venture with Dyno Nobel.  The joint venture partnership is unique in that it offers major manufacture products and technology while maintaining the independent entrepreneur spirit and service.

In 2020 Warex expanded it's territory into Western Kentucky, parts of Tennessee, and grew it's footprint in Southern Illinois. Warex has taken what they know and continued their excellent services into these areas. While Warex territory has continued to grow we still offer the same great and safe delivery of explosives and services in all areas of the company.
